Education Places to Work is a certification programme that recognises schools and trusts with strong workplace cultures and positive employee experiences.

The programme is open to state-funded schools, independent schools, and multi-academy trusts across the UK.

It provides independent recognition of your organisation as a great place to work and helps strengthen employer reputation.

'Education Places to Work' fees are based solely off the total headcount of the entrant organisation. Below is the pricing model: There are no additional costs, other that if the awarded organisation wishes to purchase additional 'Education Place to Work' trophies.

Included in your fee is: A solo admin access setup for your Trust or School to access your employer dashboard, where you can view results, engagement rates etc.Employee engagement survey setup by 'Education Places to Work' Employer questionnaireA template letter to all employees with details on how to complete the Employee engagement survey.A benchmarking report of your results An action plan of what can be improvedA template letter for you to use once becoming a 'Certified' or 'Leading' Education Place to Work.A social graphics pack with announcement posts once becoming a 'Certified' or 'Leading' Education Place to Work.Email signatures to celebrate your level of certification A trophy awarding your status of becoming a 'Certified' or 'Leading' Education Place to Work.

Once registered and payment made, you will be sent a unique link for your employer questionnaire, as well as a link for your employee engagement survey. Following completion, results are then assessed by Education Places to Work, awarding your organisation with 'Certified' or 'Leading' status.

Our team will provide you with: A graphics pack with email banners, logos, social post content. A template letter for employees announcing your certification.'Education Places to Work' trophy, as well as a link for purchasing additional trophies.

Our employee survey takes less than 5 minutes to complete!

Yes. Employee responses are completely anonymous and reported in aggregate form. Education Places to Work cannot view the individual's responses - for respondants who sit within smaller teams in your School or Trust, we will not allow analysis for groups less than 5 respondants.

We will share with you your employer questionnaire and employee engagement survey link within 2 business days in which the organisation then has two weeks to complete. Following submission, you will receive your applicable certification within two weeks.

Yes. At least 60% of eligible employees must complete the survey for results to be validated.

Our team will be in touch to discuss next steps, in which a time extension could be permitted.

Organisations can achieve either 'Certified' (meeting the required standard) or 'Leading' (exceeding the required standard).

The Education Places to Work team will be in touch via email, along with a detailed feedback report and action plan.

Your certification lasts one year, you will be invited to enter again for re-apply in the next academic year.

Yes. Organisations are encouraged to promote participation, but responses must remain voluntary. Our team will provide you with a template letter to send to all employees.

Absolutely! Upon award, our team will share with you social posts and template content.

Yes. Your certification provides independent validation of your workplace culture, helping attract prospective employees.
