Biography
As Chief Executive Officer of Fortis Trust, I lead a small but ambitious multi-academy trust based in Medway and Kent. Our portfolio includes the largest specialist all-through SEND Academy in England and Forward2Employment, a Specialist Post-16 Institution supporting young people aged 16–25 into meaningful employment.
My role encompasses strategic leadership across all areas of trust operations, including school improvement, performance management, recruitment, marketing, and organisational growth.
I am currently overseeing a full site rebuild under the DfE’s Schools Rebuilding Project, the opening of a new free school, and the potential on boarding of three additional schools—an infant school, an SEMH special school, and an Alternative Provision. As Accounting Officer, I hold responsibility for financial oversight, risk management, and regulatory compliance. I also lead the Medway PTI Primary Hub and manage our Outreach Service, which extends specialist support across the region.
Why have I joined nEdEx?
I have joined the nEdEx Advisory Board because I am deeply committed to supporting and shaping the future of the multi-academy trust (MAT) sector.

The opportunity to help develop nEdEx is both exciting and timely. As CEO of a specialist MAT, I am acutely aware of the challenges and opportunities facing trusts today—from governance and growth to SEND provision and post-16 pathways. I believe nEdEx can offer vital thought leadership, practical guidance, and a platform for innovation across the sector.

I am particularly drawn to nEdEx’s potential to amplify diverse voices and share best practice in a rapidly evolving educational landscape. With experience in trust development, school improvement, compliance, strategic planning, and outreach, I am keen to contribute to a board that values insight, integrity, and impact.

Joining nEdEx would allow me to continue supporting the sector I care deeply about, while learning from and collaborating with other committed leaders.
